Born in Milan on January 4, 1962, Vito Potenza was brought up in England where he finished his primary and secondary education. After his degree in Economics at the Milan Catholic University with a thesis on the development of accountancy rules in the UK, he obtained his qualification as Certified Chartered Accountant becoming member of the National Institute of Chartered Accountants of Milan (reg. num. 2054) and also member of the Italian Register of Official Auditors (reg. num. 65450).

Federico Bertolini
Born in Varese on August 5, 1963, Federico Bertolini graduated in Economics at the Milan Catholic University with a thesis on the Business and Financial risks for the enterprises operating on international markets. He then obtained his qualification as Certified Chartered Accountant becoming member of the National Institute of Chartered Accountants of Milan (reg. num. 3487) and also member of the Italian Register of Official Auditors (reg. num. 66035).

Vito Potenza

Born in Milan on January 4, 1962, Vito Potenza was brought up in England where he finished his primary and secondary education. After his degree in Economics at the Milan Catholic University with a thesis on the development of accountancy rules in the UK, he obtained his qualification as Certified Chartered Accountant becoming member of the National Institute of Chartered Accountants of Milan (reg. num. 2054) and also member of the Italian Register of Official Auditors (reg. num. 65450). His professional activity started in 1990 in a well-reputed Chartered Accounting Firm created in 1953; shortly after that, Mr. Potenza became a partner and the firm started to operate under the name of Studio Russo & Potenza. At present, he is founder and senior partner of the Associated Chartered Accounting Firm Potenza & Partners operating both in Milan and Monza. In his long standing career as Certified Chartered Accountant, Mr. Potenza has covered the positions of President and Member of the board of auditors in private and public corporations, President of Arbitrations, Technical Consultant for the Civil and Criminal Courts of Milan (Court Technical Consultant as Trustee in Bankruptcy cases and official appraiser), Technical Consultant for the Civil and Criminal Courts of Monza (official appraiser for the Prosecutors office), Technical Consultant for the Civil and Criminal Courts of Bergamo (official appraiser for the Judge). The all-encompassing and long-standing experience together with the wide range of key roles played in this field give Mr. Potenza the qualified competence to support his customers at national and international level for tax and corporate related matters.

In 2005 Vito Potenza was appointed Commissioner for the Budget by the Mayor of Seregno. His institutional appointment was reconfirmed in 2010 for another 5 year term. Mr. Vito Potenza has also dedicated part of his time to teaching and writing; for a few years he lectured in training courses for entrepreneurs and tax consultants; in the year 2000 he was also giving technical lessons at University of Castellanza for the course of Criminal Law and Economics; he was one of the speakers at the conference "Management Control in medium size cities: theory and municipal experiences" promoted by University Bicocca in Milan in 2010. Mr. Potenza has also written several articles, including the one appeared on "Crimes e Computer", a magazine published by the Information and publishing Department of the Council of Ministers' office under the title "Applicazioni pratiche di tecnologia: viaggio dal virtuale al reale" ("Practical use of technology: a trip from virtual to reality"). In 2010 he has also been appointed Head of the Department of Economical Science of UNINTESS -International University of Social Science in Mantova. Mr. Potenza has been for a few years now permanent member of the international Working Group 'Enhancing Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) to Protect Vulnerable Targets' launched by UNICRI (United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute). From 1994 to 2009 Mr. Potenza was President of the Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri (Carabinieri National Association) Division of the city of Monza (founded in 1897 and with 400 members) and since 2009 he has been Provincial Co-ordinator of the Carabinieri National Association for the area of Monza and Brianza (comprising 15 divisions and with over 3500 members). Federico Bertolini

He then obtained his qualification as Certified Chartered Accountant becoming member of the National Institute of Chartered Accountants of Milan (reg. num. 3487) and also member of the Italian Register of Official Auditors (reg. num. 66035). After being in the past years member of the Finance and Management Control Commission of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Milan he is now member of the Commission that deals with Corporate Law issues. At present, he is a founder and a senior partner of the Associated Chartered Accounting Firm Potenza & Partners operating both in Milan and Monza. Mr. Bertolini started his professional experience while completing his university education, joining, later on, the professional team of an Italian well-reputed Chartered Accounting Firm in Milan appointed as responsible for the tax litigation division. In his career as Certified Chartered Accountant, Mr. Bertolini has covered the position of Member of the board of auditors in leading private and public corporations.

His professional profile is also enriched by the experience as CFO in various Italian corporate companies working in the field of services and large plant engineering where, for a long period of time, he has dwelt with merger and acquisition operations and the subsequent managing and organizational steps particularly related to the internal management control systems creation and implementation. Thanks to the gained knowledge achieved through many years of consulting provided both as professional and directly from inside the companies occupying responsibility positions Mr Bertolini is today well qualified to assist the Italian and International clients for all the ordinary and extraordinary operations related to managing, contractual, fiscal and accounting needs. For a few years Federico Bertolini has also dedicated part of his time in teaching fiscal and accounting matters training entrepreneurs, managers and tax consultants. Back >
